The BSSC Lions competed in the Senior Girls Netball of the School Sport Victoria (SSV) Loddon Mallee Region (LMR) on Monday 20th July in Bendigo.
A massive day of netball with the girls playing six matches in a round robin format. The winner progressing to the SSV State Championships.
The opening two games had the Lions on the winners list against Robinvale and Rochester. The third game was played against local rival CMC where the girls started slow and were unable to bridge the gap. Wycheproof was up next with the team regaining composure in a hard fought win. We started well against Mildura SC and led for majority of the game with MSC taking the lead in the final stages of the game. St Marys Swan Hill forfeited the last match.
Overall the team did well, finishing in third position. Thank you to Carol Cathcart for coaching the team and thank you to Addison Pollard for umpiring.
