The Bendigo Senior Secondary College (BSSC) Lions competed in the AFL Senior Girls School Sport Victoria (SSV) State Championships after winning their way through from the Loddon Mallee Region.
The semi final was held on Wednesday 12th August in Ballarat. The Senior Girls team played against Greensborough who won the SSV State Championships last year.
The team had plenty of the play with the ball being in the Lions forward 50 for majority of the game but unable to capitalise on the score board. Greensborough were able to make the most of their opportunities and won by 26pts. Well done Lions, a great effort to make the finals.
A huge thank you to Emila Moss for coaching and to Emma Grant for assisting.
