BSSC looks forward to seeing all new and returning students for Blast Off interviews on Thursday 28 or Friday 29 January 2016. We hope that you have enjoyed Step Up week and that you come prepared for lots of new learning opportunities after your holiday break.

Students who missed classes during Step Up and notified the college of their absence or inability to attend will be sent a letter with instructions on how to access class materials to complete over the holidays. These materials will be made available on BSSC’s online portal Compass.

Students who don’t notify the college of their absence will need to contact the college to make arrangements to access this material.

Booklist items will be available for collection at BSSC’s gymnasium on:

  • Thursday 14 January 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
  • Friday 15 January 3:00 – 8:00 pm
  • Saturday 16 January 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

In mid-January you will receive a letter from the college inviting you to make an appointment for Blast Off interviews with your 2016 advisor. These interviews will be on Thursday 28 and Friday 29 January. You will also have your school photo taken on this day.

Classes commence on Monday 1 February 2016. The first formal day of classes will start with a house assembly and advisor meetings.

On Tuesday 2 February, students will take part in the aquatic challenge. This is a fun day with lots of activities and a barbecue lunch for all students at the Bendigo Aquatic Centre.

Any students who miss out on having their school photo taken during Blast Off can have it taken on Wednesday 3 February.
