Running with purpose

Year 11 student Joel Hodge is training to compete in the Age Run Melbourne in support of the Cancer Council. We encourage our BSSC community to get behind Joel and help him towards his target of $1000 for the Cancer Council.

“On July 24, I will be running the Age Run Melbourne 2016. The run is 21 kilometres and I’ll be aiming to complete it in two hours or less. I would love it if you could support me,” he said.

“I want to support people that have cancer. There have been people around me that have had the disease, but have been very fortunate and lived perfectly normal lives. I know that’s not always the case. This is one way I can offer support.”

Using the link below you can donate to the cause with all money going directly to the Cancer Council. You can also check Joel’s progress – how much money he has raised and how his training is going in the lead up to the event. Let’s get behind Joel for this g

reat cause.
