Students in Karen Green’s Senior PDWRS Headstart class were back at work on their community project today, giving a fresh coat of paint to the fountain in the Garden of Harmony between the Alexander Wing and Rosalind Park.

The Headstart class are restoring the fountain that was part of the original Garden of Harmony Project driven originally by former Student Council Vice-President Claire Ormerod and fellow council member Sandra Jacka (both Class of 2000).

The garden will once again be a place of study, relaxation and contemplation—just as Claire and Sandra first envisioned.

Headstart students are also creating a plaque to be mounted beside the fountain that will tell the history of the garden and fountain.
