SALLY CURTAIN AND BENDIGO SENIOR SECONDARY COLLEGE TEAM UP FOR PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY 2022
Chief Executive Officer of Bendigo Kangan TAFE, Sally Curtain, will step out of the business world and into Bendigo Senior Secondary College (BSSC) for the 19th annual Principal For A Day event on Monday 2nd May. Principal For a Day offers first-hand experience of a ‘day in the life’ of a Victorian government school principal.
BSSC Principal, Dale Pearce, says the event provides mutual benefits for schools and business/community leaders.
“We are excited to welcome Sally to our college and we look forward to exchanging ideas, visiting classes and connecting with the college community,” he said. “We hope to deepen our understanding of each other’s work and perhaps find ways we can further enhance our connection.
“Principal For a Day provides an excellent opportunity to enable for Sally to gain unique insights into the learning environment at our school.”
Sally Curtain says the opportunity will offer a new perspective on the valuable work of schools.
“I am looking forward to the experience,” Ms Curtain said. “Being involved in the Principal for a Day program offers an insight into the future of education and enables us to work together, share skills, and build an ongoing relationship.”
Principal For A Day aims to:

mutually beneficial ways.
