Kendall O’Sullivan’s and Cazz Pysing’s Senior PDWRS class recently set themselves the task of supporting the local community and ‘paying it forward’.
Students contacted Haven Home Safe to learn about homelessness in the Bendigo region. Brad from Haven was able to come to the college and answer questions to support this learning.
Next week is also Homelessness Week so this has been very timely.
The past month has seen students very busy gathering donations of warm clothing to support those in need over the winter months.
There was wonderful support and even new and hand-knitted items like beanies and scarves were delivered and gratefully received by Haven this morning. Thanks to all for the help and support!
