What a great night’s entertainment at the Victory College Auditorium last night with VCE Unit 3 Music Performance students from both BSSC and Victory performing across a wide range of musical styles and genres. The concert spanned classical, jazz, pop, and even musical theatre, with Erin Mannix performing an amazing piece from Stephen Sonsheim’s Sweeney Todd. Michael Jackson was covered, along with Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Des’ree. The night ended in fine style with local indie rock band The Trophy Wives—featuring BSSC students Caitlyn, Billie and Anita—giving an awesome performance. Congratulations to all our students who stepped out of their comfort zones onto an unfamiliar stage and performed so well. And a big thank you to Cheryl Long for her brilliant accompaniment.
