The Senior Girls and Boys teams played at the School Sport Victoria (SSV) Sandhurst Division on Friday 6th March at the Bendigo Regional Tennis Centre.
The Girls team took on SEDA College (Bendigo) with four sets of singles and two sets of doubles being played.
Samantha Hill and Laura Mellor teamed up first with a 6-1 start to the day.
Ashlyn Wood and Ella McKinnon followed the same pace with a 6-3 result. 3 out of the 4 singles were in favor of the Lions with a win by 17 games.
The Boys team played against Catherine McAuley College (CMC) and Castlemaine Secondary College (CSC).
The first match against CMC had Chris Gamboa and Elijah Eddy teamed up together with a 6-1 set while Lloyd Vandenberg and Hayden Becker coming away with a 6-2 win. 3 out of the 4 singles sets were won to win the match by 20 games.
The second match was a good hit with CSC taking the first set 3-6 and the Lions winning the second 6-4. BSSC finished off string with a 5 game win to finish the day.
