After much collaboration and creative expertise, a series of eleven plaques depicting the long and fascinating history of the college went on display earlier this term.
From the Sandhurst Corporate High School with 65 students to our present-day Senior Secondary College with around 1800 enrolments, the significant historical milestones are all there in words and pictures.
Yesterday those who participated in the project reminisced over afternoon tea and acknowledged the tremendous achievement of bringing the plaques to fruition.
Conceived and researched by members of the past students’ group, Old Gold, and members of the college leadership group, the plaques were designed by BSSC’s Communications Team and are now displayed prominently on the Business Building. They are not only a wonderful historical record, but a great orientation tool for new students and staff; a reminder of the remarkable story we’re all part of as a BSSC community members.
