Today we bid farewell to 10 students and a staff member from the Chengdu area of China. The group arrived at BSSC the 11th of August for an intensive 10-day study tour.
The program ensured they further developed their English Language skills by attending some scheduled English classes as well as other classes of interest such as Auslan, Drama, Food Studies and Chemistry.
The students also took in some of Bendigo’s highlights and allowed them to experience the Australian lifestyle and culture, particularly through their homestays with local families—a highlight for all the students.
BSSC students from the VET Chinese class also spent time with the group, allowing them to develop their Chinese Language skills. They leave us today, but the fun experiences and deep learning will stay with everyone involved.
