BSSC International students, Saad Sabri and Nga Ying Cheng, participate at the International Student English Public Speaking Competition at Northcote High School yesterday.
Eleven candidates from five different state schools participated, speaking on the topic “Moving the Goal Post”.
Both students did a great job with Saad winning second place.
In their speech, Saad looked at the expression as ‘’logical fallacies in argument and debate”, while Yingying talked about equality and women taking the goal posts back instead of them being moved by someone else.
They also had great fun getting to know students from other schools.
