Today two classes of EAL VCAL students visited La Trobe University today as part of the School Partnerships Program.

Students began their day with a tour of the university campus followed by Career Conversations with La Trobe students from refugee backgrounds.

The students also attended an information session about what they could expect from university study, then gained first-hand experience with workshops in Nursing and Midwifery, where they had the opportunity to simulate sewing up a wound and hone their CPR skills.

The day certainly inspired students’ university aspirations.
