The challenges continued for participants in the ‘Partner a Class’ program on Tuesday as students gave presentations to Commonwealth Bank staff in the CBA Bendigo boardroom.

Students worked in groups to create a presentation titled ‘Who is the Commonwealth Bank?’ covering topics such as history, products, capital and funding, and customer service.

Teacher Matt Kellow said it was a great opportunity for his students to get away from the textbook and step into the real world of banking and finance.

“The students began the day with a live video Q & A session with David Farr, the bank’s Managing Director Asset Finance in Sydney,” Matt said. “He gave them lots of great advice about following their interests, and the many pathways into the banking sector.”

The participants received invaluable feedback on their presentations from bank staff, and all our BSSC students conducted themselves with professionalism and confidence.

Congratulations everyone!
