This morning the annual NETschool art exhibition was launched at Dudley House by Federal Member for Bendigo, Lisa Chesters—a huge supporter of the NETschool art program. This year’s showcase theme was ‘Strange Worlds’.

“Art is important,” Lisa told the gathered crowd of students, family and friends, “and it takes strength and courage to produce the works we see before us today.”

Lisa has been proudly displaying selections of work from NETschool in her parliamentary office for many years and no doubt delighted students when she told them the Prime Minister has viewed NETschool art.

The superb standard of work in the exhibition was celebrated by both NETschool Coordinator, Lee Fitzgibbons, and BSSC Principal, Kylie Hand—as was Lisa’s commitment to NETschool students.

All expressed their pride and delight and urged everyone to bring their friends and family to the exhibition which will run daily from 11am till 4.30pm until Thursday Sept 3.

Some artwork is available for purchase.

Don’t miss it!
