What is on offer?
Based in Bendigo – multiple positions – commencing this year and next. AGO has funding to expand its workforce over the next few years
Suited to Year 12 completers – start working and earning straight out of school!
Full (TAFE studies and on-site) training – training and mentoring by Senior Defence and APS staff
Earn while you learn – all the benefits of being a full-time employee while you study, and all with a starting salary of $55,000 pa
A secure, guaranteed career with the public service in the Defence Force after you complete the traineeship – 2nd year $63,000 pa
Opportunities to travel – domestic and international
Opportunities to go onto further study after your Certificate IV completion ie. Diploma or degree (supported by the Department of Defence!)
What do you need to apply?
An interest and enjoyment in world issues, working with computers, geography, national security, working with satellite and aerial imagery.
The employability and personal skills to manage a traineeship and a career (Year 12 completers are encouraged).
