Visual Arts provides students with the opportunities to develop creative skills in a range of practical and theoretical areas.

Art

Art allows students to explore ways in which ideas and issues can influence the making and interpretation of art. Practical work involves investigation of a variety of materials and areas of personal interest. Students can choose between a Fashion or General focus.

Studio Arts

Studio Arts is about the development and use of specialist skills in the production of artworks. Students choose to specialise in Ceramics/ Sculpture, Drawing/ Painting or Photography.

Visual Communication Design

Discover the diversity of visual communication and develop an understanding of the design elements and principles, technical, freehand, observational and computer generated drawing. You will develop, explore and experiment with a range of media, methods and materials to develop ideas which relate to Environmental, Industrial and Communication Design, then apply this knowledge to your own design work.
