Students are eligible on the grounds of:

  • Illness - short term or chronic
  • Personal circumstances - family break-up, death of close relative or friend, homelessness
  • Physical Impairement - visual, hearing, motor skills
  • Learning disability - dyslexia, processing skills

All applications must be supported by recent documentation from a relevant professional. If a student indicates that they may be eligible on any of these grounds please inform the Student Coordinator ASAP

Special Provision can apply in

  • Curriculum delivery
  • School-based assessment
  • Special Examination arrangements
  • Derived Examination scores

It may take the form of re-scheduling of SACs, alternative tasks, provision of technology (e.g. use of computers), extra time for SACs and examinations.

Again please alert the Coordinator ASAP and the student will be followed up.
