Student Support Services
Home \ Students \ Program Guide \ Student SupportThe college operates a number of programs which assist students. Integration ProgramThe Integration Program provides classroom support for students with various disabilities. The level and type of support varies with an individual student's needs. Students in the program are assigned support according to Department of Education and Training (DE&T) guidelines. Literacy and Numeracy SupportThe Literacy and Numeracy Support Program provides regular small group tutorial sessions to assist students to identify strengths and improve areas of concern. Student Support CoordinatorsThe Student Support Coordinators assist students to access a wide range of community support organisations. They provide advice and support for a whole range of issues and concerns associated with school, home, accommodation and relationships. Various programs are run to support students completing their VCE or VCAL. VCE ManagementThe VCE Management unit is a subject designed to improve student skills and support them in completing their VCE. The unit may be taken for one or two semesters at Year 11 or 12. School to Work CentreStudents wishing to arrange work experience or placement and enrolment in an Occupational Health and Safety course can do so at the School to Work Office. The Jobs Pathway and Managed Individual Pathways Programs both provide counselling, advice and support for students wishing to move into employment or other training while extensive careers counselling is also provided for employment, further training and tertiary study.
