BSSC Information Evenings are held at each of Bendigo's 7-10 Colleges and for students enrolling from other Colleges at BSSC.

Open Days


This day focuses on curriculum based information. All subject areas are represented. Attendance on this day provides the best opportunity to gain an understanding of subject choice. This day also provides an excellent opportunity to experience the physical environment of the College, with tours conducted by staff and students operating throughout the day.

Program Selection Meeting


Program selection meetings occur at 7-10 College, in the weeks following BSSC open day. These meetings ensure that the program and subjects that the student has selected meet their desired pathway. Both parents and student should attend these meeting.


Transition Week


Transition Week is from Friday 25th November to Friday 2nd December, this six day program enables students to become familiar with the BSSC physical, social and academic environment. Students undertake classes in their chosen subjects, which assists them to ensure that their selected programs meets their expectations.


Orientation Sessions


Students new to the College, Year 11 and Year 12 are required to attend one orientation session. Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. These sessions are focused on outlining the College's expectation, the opportunities available at the College and confirming courses and enrolment.
