Legal Studies is about the way law relates to and serves individuals and the community. It develops an understanding of how laws are made and how they operate in Australia.

Note: It is highly recommended students do this unit prior to attempting unit 3 and 4.

  • Attainment of justice
Assessment: Essays are a major component of the total assessment. Assessment in Legal Studies is Unit 3 school assessed coursework (25%), Unit 4 school assessed coursework (25%) and an end of year examination (50%).
