Careers and Pathways staff are gearing up to work with Yr 12 students once they have received their results and ENTER. Results will be available on 15th December. VTAC Change of Preference (COP) will be available to all applicants and students are advised to seek information and advice from the institutions they have applied to. All the Universities are providing personal and/or phone services to students during Change of Preference to assist with their decisions – check the Courses and Careers Homepage for the Change of Preference link , VTAC website or contact the institutions. The COP period opens 1st December and closes on 22nd December. Please note - There will be a representative from La Trobe available in the Careers office from 1pm-4pm on Wednesday 17th December. Careers Staff will be at BSSC until December 19th so if students need assistance with changing preferences they should contact the school before this date and preferably make an appointment with a member of the team

Change of preference is available from 1 st December (9am) to 22nd December 2008 (12noon). Students will be able to access their Results from 7am on the 15th December and can change one/all/order of preferences using the VTAC website. Students should refer to their VTAC guides for extra requirements as some courses cannot be added during Change of Preference or require them to contact the relevant University/TAFE or provider.

Students who did not make a VTAC application by 30 September have been sent a letter detailing options and services from the Pathways office including MIPS Staff and the Careers and Pathways team and should be aware that they can still make a VTAC application if they wish until 12 December - the cost is $79/82 on www.vtac.edu.au for late applicants (from 29 September until 14 November) or $102/105 for very late applicants (14 November until 12 December).
