Bendigo Senior Secondary College has been successful in obtaining a QTP
Project Grant to develop online curriculum materials for vocational learning.
These materials will be developed through web-and-flow
Teams of teachers from BSSC and other Colleges in the Loddon Campaspe Mallee Region will be involved in this project.
What is Vocational Learning?
Aspects of Vocational Learning have been occurring in schools for many years in the form of innovations such as career education, development of key competencies, enterprise education and community-based learning. Vocational learning is, however, much more than these component parts.
Vocational learning promotes employability, active citizenship and lifelong learning. It is about developing skills knowledge and understanding, exploring values and being introduced to options and investigating these options and/opportunities.
