Thanks Lisa.

Name: Toni Hicks Taminmin High School
Email: toni.hicks@latis.net.au
Comments: Wonderful to have time to play. Given me direction to make better use of the internet as a student research tool and to start creating my own web-based stuff rather that relying on others.
Thanks.

Comments: I have learnt heaps and feel more confident in experimenting with the different formats especially since the formats are also on the Bendigo website.
I like the fact that I can access Lisa's powerpoint presentation and read about the different online formats at my leisure. Thank you. I am now anxious to spend some time exploring all the wonderful websites that has been introduced.

Comments:

I have found the PD is very interesting and informative and I certainly enjoyed it very much. However,I wish we had more time to carry ou the hand-on activities so as we feel more comfortable to search on the different sites, like webquest, knowledge hunt, etc.

When I get back to school I certainly will use the skills and knowledge I gather from the PD into my clasroom. Then hopefully it will benefit my students. I also would like to do a further course on designing myn own webquest.

Name: Kylie Nam
Email: namfungus@eudoramail.com
Comments: A useful and practical PD that I will hopefully be able impliment in my school.
Thankyou.

Name: Jennifer Ure
Email: jennifer.ure@nt.gov.au
Comments: Despite some of the hiccups in accessing the Internet today ( a reality check!), it's been great to learn about the wealth of material out there in cyberspace. More exciting is that Lisa's workshop has made me feel confident that I could develop hotlists and webquests. The mystery of these two terms has been unlocked as we learned about the different types of webquest activities that I can develop!!

Comments: hotlist
This hotlist was my first plaything. The inservice itself was spot-on.
Excellent backgound info given; demonstration of knowledge was meaningful; can see lots of potential; now the challenge of following through with practice, practice and application...
Thanks Lisa.

Name: Jane Muchira
Email: jmuchira@ntoec.nt.edu.au
Comments: The training was great. I realise the webquests are quite handy as an integrated resource for students.
I will be working with teachers and put webquests they create for their courses on toolbox.
Thanks for the new search engines too.

Name: Greta Creed
Email: gcreed@ntoec.nt.edu.au
Comments: hotlist This hotlist was based around a 'Global Warming' unit for Stage 1 students doing Geography. It is very rough as a first draft, and I know that with more time I would find some better URLs, classify the URLs better and so on. Now to play more....

Comments: Very informative. I will be using web and flow to design a knowledge hunt for a batik unit I am working on. I didn't get that far but the process looks straight forward. hotlist

Friday June 4th Alice Springs

Name: Fran Fleming
Email: ffleming@assoa.nt.edu.au
Comments: I'm disappointed that we didn't have more time to spend with Lisa whilst she was in Alice Springs. Even though I felt rushed to achieve something today it has been very worthwhile PD. I will now go and play with web-and-flow and see what I can come up with. I'm inspired!

Name: Bernard (B.J.) Lucas
Email: blucas1@bigpond.com
Comments: What an absolutely marvellous P.D.!! Your course of 6 hours has saved me immeasurable time and effort for future course planning and structure. Thank you for your time and effort and I shall remember you every time I plan a course in the future.
Keep up the good work!

Name: krys haber
Email: krys.haber@latis.net.au
Comments: Thanks a lot. A very productive and well presented worskhop. I have been able to learn the process of creating hot links. It was valuable to explore various ways of researching to find the educational resources on the Internet. I will be able to better structure the students learning to allow them to focus and maximise the time spent on the net. I would be happy to attend other - similar workshops to extend the learning acquired during this in-service so please keep me informed.
Thanks again.
Krys

Comments: Thank you very much for lots of useful infomation. I am sure to use the program for Japanese Language class.

Name: Diana Hutchins
Email: info@yirara.nt.edu.au
Comments: I found this presentation very useful. Being hands-on with people helping each other we all gained practical experience of the internet. My problem is finding suitable websites for indigenous teenagers with a very low literacy level.
