This years rock eisteddfod is called 'Flashpoint' it is a comment on the recent fires. We are entered in the RAW section which has a
focus on choreography rather than the set and costume. In the past we have also entered in the Open Division so this is a new approch for BSSC Rock Ed.

Awards
2008 Rock Ed our piece was called "Credit Crises"
Were a Grand Finalist in the Open Division and recieved;
- The Edge Award of Excellence for Choreography
- Award of Excellence for Performance Skill
- Award of Excellence for Visual Enhancement
- Award of Excellence for Environmental or Social Awareness
- Rock Eisteddfod Challenge Award of Excellence for Soundtrack
- The Supre Award of Excellence for Costuming Character
- The Calvin Klein Award of Excellence for Set Design and Function
