The Centenary of Bendigo High School / Bendigo Senior College will be celebrated from
Friday October 5th - Tuesday October 9 2007

The ex-students association of Bendigo High School, Bendigo Senior High School and Bendigo Senior Secondary College
Membership:
is open to ex-students, ex-staff, ex-parents and citizens, and current staff.

Categories of Membership:

1. HONORARY LIFE MEMBERS:
To date the only Honorary Life Member has been Miss Florence Anderson, former student, staff member and Senior Mistress. Miss Anderson died in February 1999.

2. OLD GOLD PATRONS $500.00
This one-off payment entitles the member to:
  • All correspondence from the Association for life
  • "Patron" to be included on Old Gold board in College
  • Old Gold Bendigo Inc badge
  • Gold nugget stickpin / pendant; scarf / tie; individual membership plaque
  • Network access

This membership may be paid in two instalments of $250. The first payment of $250 will entitle the member to all privileges except for the gold pin / pendant which will be forwarded upon receipt of the final payment.

3. LIFE MEMBERS $200.00
This one-off** payment entitles the member to

  • All correspondence from the Association for life
  • Name to be placed on the Life Member board in the college
  • Old Gold Bendigo Inc badge

  • **This membership may be paid in instalments.

4. ANNUAL MEMBERS
Adult membership $20.00
Student membership $10.00 **first year exit students; students undertaking further study;
those not employed)

5. HONORARY MEMBERS
Current staff members are honorary members.

6. CORPORATE MEMBERS $500.00 per year
Corporate Members will be acknowledged in publications of the Association and some Parent Newsletters, and be granted advertising space at reduced rates. Such corporate membership shall be entitled to one vote only by a nominated delegate.
A plaque and paperweight will be issued.

Purposes:

Old Gold Bendigo Inc. aims to:
  • Strengthen links with former Students, Staff, Parents & Citizens associated with Bendigo High School, Bendigo Senior High School and Bendigo Senior Secondary College
  • Provide a medium whereby former students may preserve and develop friendships formed at the school/college
  • Organise the cooperation and the assistance of former students of the school/college with and for the benefit of the college
  • Provide a forum for existing groups associated with the college to promote their activities
  • Establish, maintain and provide access to College archives for approved purposes
  • Promote and publicise the College, including recognition of significant achievements of former students
  • Facilitate activities such as reunions and anniversary celebrations
  • Provide a publication to inform members of the activities of the Association
  • Participate in fund raising and enhance the prospect of bequests and major donations through an increased awareness of the College and its confirmed commitment to excellence in education
  • Other activities as may from time to time be considered by the Executive as conducive to the attainment of the above purposes.

Administration:
An executive and an elected committee of 8 administers Old Gold Bendigo Inc. The committee meets monthly.
