Architectural Structures & Design

Architectural Structures are referring to building parts which have a prime objective of creating a visual impact. As such they may have a direct educational purpose or serve purely as a symbol or visual structure. Buildings such as the Sydney Opera house would be an obvious example of a significant Architectural structure which also has a function. Sculptures at the front of a building may serve solely as a visual statement without a functional purpose.
