Are you aged between 12 and 25 and want to speak up for young people in the Mount Alexander Shire?
Mount Alexander Shire Council is seeking new members for its 2020 Youth Advisory Group (YAG). The group provides input into Council decisions and plans, helps identify issues and solutions relevant to young people and delivers local youth events and projects.
Apply now if you:
- Want to help deliver youth projects and events
- Want to develop your leadership skills
- Want to give young people a voice
- Are 12 to 25 years-old
- Can meet on Tuesdays from 3:45pm – 5:30pm in Castlemaine
Along with making a positive difference to the shire, YAG members receive training in areas such as public speaking, leadership and event management.
If you are aged between 12 and 25 you can apply to become a member. You don’t need any previous experience to apply, just a passion for making a difference. YAG meetings are held on Tuesdays from 3:45pm to 5:30pm in Castlemaine.
