Students in Year 11 and 12 are invited to apply for a range of special awards, which will be presented at our Annual Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 18 December in Ulumbarra Theatre.
Students can apply for more than one award and must complete the necessary paperwork and submit their application by the closing date of Friday 11 October.
Application forms with further information are available on the Compass news feed. Please view the forms carefully, as the awards have differing criteria.
The Special Awards which students can nominate themselves for are:
- Student of the Year
- Miss Florence Anderson Memorial Award
- Kathryn Lake Memorial Award
- Taylor Family VCE Awards
- Taylor Family VET Awards
- Fernwood Fitness Scholarships –Year 11 sporting and/or community involvement and will regularly attend Fernwood Fitness (108 Lowndes St, Kennington)
Each award carries a monetary prize—with the exception of Fernwood Fitness—which is a 12-month membership.
Completed nominations are to be handed in to the General Office or email stewart.judy@bssc.edu.au by the end of the school day on Friday 11 October.
