VOLLEYBALL TEAMS THROUGH TO LODDON MALLEE FINALS
Congratulations to the BSSC volleyball teams which have both progressed to the Loddon Mallee Region finals after winning Friday’s Sandhurst Division competition. The girls had a comfortable win against Marist College Bendigo but had to fight hard to overcome Catherine McAuley College in three sets. The boys won their two matches quite easily.
Girls team: Talitha Alexander, Maddie Betts, Chloe De Salvo, Susie Godfrey, Caitlin Johns, Jamie Targett, Lisa Ung, and coach Kate Eason
Boys team: Dillon Gauci, Bryce Guley, Lachie Hill, Tarran Kilcullen, Lachie Parkinson, Matt Poulter, Jack Ryan, Jack Sides, Tom Wigney, and coach Jimmy Shelton
Loddon Mallee Region finals will be held in Mildura on Thursday 10 May.
GOLF – LODDON MALLEE REGION EVENT
BSSC had five representatives in this week’s Loddon Mallee Region golf event at Bendigo Golf Club – Jarrett Miles, Mitch Kemp, Lachie Jackson, Mitch Hogan, and Cooper Aisbett-Wright. This was a qualifying event for the State Final early next term. Jarrett Miles produced the best score from the BSSC team (one-over par), which should be good enough to earn him a place in the State Final. Well done to all competitors.
BSSC SWIM TEAM PERFORM WELL AT LODDON MALLEE FINALS
The BSSC swim team had a very successful day at the Loddon Mallee Region swim finals in Swan Hill on Thursday, with all swimmers taking home at least one medal.

Alia, Lydia, Kiara, Georgia, Sarah, and Cameron have all qualified for the SSV State Finals in Melbourne early next term.
CRICKET BOYS – SSV QUARTER FINAL
Best of luck to the BSSC boys’ cricket team when they compete in the SSV State Quarter
Final at Club Court, Strathfieldsaye next Monday 26 March. Game starts at 11:00am. If they can secure a win, they will progress to the State Finals in Melbourne early in Term 4.

SCHOOL SPORT VICTORIA – STATE TEAM TRIALS
Each year, talented Victorian School students have the opportunity to trial for a place in the School Sport Victoria (SSV) Team Vic State team. Selected students participate in annual School Sport Australia (SSA) Championships including the Pacific School Games (PSG) held every second year. These championships offer gifted and talented students the opportunity to participate in higher levels of sporting competition against students from other Australian States and Territories.
