A group of BSSC Visual Art students learnt new skills and techniques yesterday as part of the La Trobe University Outreach Program.
At a workshop facilitated by artist and lecturer, Dr Kylie Banyard, students created photograms using their own images and were also introduced to cyanotype, a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print.
Dr Banyard recently moved from Sydney to Bendigo and has a piece in the upcoming Arthur Guy Memorial Painting Prize at the Bendigo Art Gallery.
