Message from Dale Pearce, Principal

Principal Message to Parents/Carers and Students – Wednesday 19 June 2024

Dear Parents/Carers and Students,

I write to inform you that I have provided notice to our College Council, the Department of Education and our staff of my intention to retire from my position at the end of Term 1, 2025.

I am providing notice at this time to support an orderly transition of leadership at the college. I understand there will be a Term 3 selection process, which will enable my replacement to be involved in any key decisions for 2025 and allow their current school to make any necessary staffing adjustments in a timely manner.

It has been an enormous privilege to lead the college since my appointment in 2006 and there will be ample time to reflect on all that has transpired across those years. I can assure our college community that we have substantial internal leadership capacity and are well placed to continue to provide outstanding teaching and support for our students. I also have no doubt that the college will benefit in some ways from a change in leadership.

I look forward to continuing to lead and support our students, staff and community over the coming months.

Yours faithfully,

Dale Pearce
Principal
