Did you know that BSSC students and staff can join to be members of the La Trobe University Bendigo Library FOR NO COST?

All you’ll need is a current student ID card and the form signed by

  • a parent/guardian – if under 18
  • school vice/principal or librarian

Forms need to be given to Library staff at the Heyward Library – Level 2, Student Union Building between the hours of

  • 8:30am – 7:00pm Monday – Friday
  • 1:00pm – 5:00pm  Saturday and Sunday

By joining the La Trobe University Library you’ll have access to items from the print collection, including items at other campus libraries, and use of the library facilities. You can borrow up to 10 print items for a period of 28 days with up to two renewals. You can also access (but cannot borrow) journals (including magazines and newspapers), videos, DVDs and reference items.

Library as a study space

Looking for a QUIET place to study? La Trobe University Bendigo Library is open 8am to midnight 7 days per week. Library staff are in attendance 8:30am to 7:00pm Monday – Friday and 1:00pm to 5:00pm Saturday and Sunday. Outside these hours, security staff are in attendance. You don’t need to be a member of the library to use the space to study, only if you want to borrow the physical items.
