Senior VCAL HeadStart students will leave a valuable legacy when they complete their BSSC studies at the end of this week.
The students have completed all their VCAL outcomes and have an early release from school to begin their full-time apprenticeships after working part-time for the past two years.
Their many projects over that time included the refurbishment and rededication of the fountain in the Harmony Garden beside the Alexander Wing, and their award-winning work on the Bees with Backpacks project.
The students are photographed here with their bee-friendly garden bed they created as part of that project.
While the students are sad to be missing out on the official rededication of the fountain on November 1, they have recorded messages to be played at the event.
The group have also been great mentors to the Intermediate students about to step up to their final year in the Head Start program.
