Bendigo Foodshare is conducting a fundraiser, collecting donations from motorists, at the fountain on Sunday 13 and Monday 14 March (Labour Day). They would be grateful if some students could give two hours to help keep food on the table for families that are struggling in Bendigo.
Shifts are only for two hours (11.00 am to 1.00 pm or 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm on both days). If you are interested please contact Ken Mann: kenmann176@gmail.com
Volunteers need to be over 16 to comply with the regulations, and a Foodshare volunteer will be present at all times. High Visibility Foodshare vests, sunblock and water will be provided.
This is a great opportunity for students to help an organisation which continues to be extremely supportive of BSSC.
