Students in Helen Attrill’s Studio Arts class had an inspiring start to their Friday visiting two local galleries.
Their morning kicked off at Bendigo’s Post Office Gallery where they viewed the exhibition ‘Raw: the endless potential of clay’—a chance to immerse themselves in some of finest pieces in the Bendigo Art Gallery’s collection of Australian ceramics.
From there, they headed over to the Art on View at Valentines Antiques in View Street for a sneak preview of the ‘Queer Country’ exhibition and artist talks by Melbourne painter and video artist, Ivan Sun, and BSSC Alumni Grace Bricknell (Class of 2020), whose self-portrait, ‘Body Horror’ is part of the exhibition.
