A series of Information evenings and Open Days are held throughout Terms 2 and 3 for prospective students and parents. There are opportunities for students and parents to tour the college, talk with staff and ask questions about the range of courses available.
Make the most of the resources and people available at Bendigo Senior Secondary College. The development of a suitable program will occur when students and parents participate fully within the events the college has to offer and make use of the many resources available through BSSC and the student's current school. The online enrolment process ensures a smooth transition into the college while Open Days in May and July offer the perfect opportunity to experience the college environment and discuss specific subject queries with classroom teachers.
Program counselling sessions provide the opportunity for students and parents to work with staff in order to finalise the student's program. Step Up week at the end of the year allows students to experience the physical, social and academic environment of the college and undertake a week of classes during which time they will start their work for the following year.
After Step Up students will be given the opportunity to make any necessary subject changes by making an appointment with a Student Coordinator through the BSSC website.
